Reporting a calculation problem

If a result looks wrong, please include:

• the address of the calculator page,
• the exact values you entered, and
• the result you expected and where that expectation comes from (for example a lender’s quote or a textbook example).

We investigate every report and correct confirmed errors as described in our editorial policy.

Suggestions

Tell us which calculator you would like to see next, or how an existing one could be clearer. Many of our tools started as reader requests.

What we cannot help with

We cannot give personal financial, tax, legal or medical advice, and we cannot see the numbers you type into a calculator because they never leave your browser.
